About Diamaze Microtechnology
Diamaze Microtechnology SA, based in Neuchâtel in the heart of the Swiss Jura, develops and produces ultra-precision micro-components made of pure diamond (All Diamond), diamond-coated silicon (Diamond Coated Silicon) as well as components with decorative diamond coatings (Decorative Diamond). The components are mainly used in luxury watches, in particular innovative escapement systems, which are delivered ready-to-install on customer-specific axes upon request. For machining diamond, the company employs special microtechnology processes that allow even the smallest watch components to be sharpened and decorated. In addition to series production, Diamaze offers custom development and research as well as cooperation with industrial partners to bring ideas and prototypes to market maturity. Founded in 2008, the company is independent, privately owned, and is the Swiss subsidiary of GFD Gesellschaft für Diamantprodukte mbH based in Ulm.
