About Diametal

Diametal AG was founded in 1936 in Biel/Bienne and specializes in the development, manufacture and distribution of Swiss precision cutting tools (Swiss Cutting Tools) made of carbide as well as superabrasive grinding wheels and grinding tools with diamond and CBN. The range includes, among other things, micro gear cutting tools from module 0.03 for robotics and automation as well as custom special tools. Through the Application Center opened in 2024 in Biel with six machines and more than 50 employees, the company develops, tests and optimizes tailored solutions together with the customer – from the initial enquiry through on-site testing to production, installation and after-sales support. Manufacturing takes place at the headquarters in Biel (Center of Excellence) and in Oltingue/France (Modern Cell Manufacturing). Customers come from automotive, connectors, micromechanics, watchmaking, aerospace, machine tool building, medical technology, dental and general engineering. Diametal is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and supplies customers worldwide.
