About Diaxxo

Diaxxo AG was founded in 2020 as a spin-off of the Functional Materials Laboratory (FML) at ETH Zurich and develops point-of-care test systems for molecular diagnostics. The company manufactures the compact real-time RT-qPCR device diaxxoPCR as well as the all-in-one device diaxxoCare, which combines sample extraction and PCR amplification. The product portfolio also includes consumables such as the Extraction Cartridge for sample preparation and the diaxxoPod test cartridges with pre-loaded PCR reagents. The patented aluminium cartridge technology enables extremely fast heating and cooling rates during thermocycling, so that PCR results are available in less than 45 minutes. Diaxxo targets small and medium-sized laboratories as well as point-of-care settings. In addition to its headquarters in Zurich, the company maintains offices in Wettringen (Germany), Istanbul (Turkey) and Singapore.
