DIC Performance Resins GmbH, based in Vienna, is a manufacturer of high-performance resin systems for the paints and coatings, printing inks, adhesives, industrial, automotive and aerospace markets. The company is part of the Advanced Materials Division of the Sun Chemical Group and can look back on over 120 years of experience in the resins field. The portfolio comprises acrylic, alkyd, epoxy, epoxy ester, GMA powder acrylic, phenolic, polyester and polyurethane resins as well as customised, environmentally friendly systems such as water-based and powder materials. With the recently integrated European PPS production (polyphenylene sulfide) of DIC, the company also supplies markets such as inkjet, electronics, printed circuit boards, photovoltaics, printed electronics and plastic cards. An in-house R&D department specialises in surface technologies and custom resin developments; regional sales and customer service centres serve customers worldwide.
