The Company
Dickmänken GmbH is a producer of industrially manufactured custom furniture at its site in Rheine in the Münsterland region. As a specialist in wood processing, the company produces customer-specific cabinets and one-of-a-kind furniture pieces for shopfitting, interior construction and object furnishing as well as for industry in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Production is based on modern CAD programs, millimeter-precise CNC precision machines for wood processing and a comprehensive, digitally networked IT infrastructure that enables customer-specific furniture within short time intervals. High-quality materials and fittings, predominantly made in Germany, are used throughout the entire processing process. In addition to its B2B business, the company operates www.schrankwerk.de, an online shop for custom furniture with a 3D configurator. On more than 3,000 m² of production space in Rheine, manufacturing structures, machines and digitally networked processes are continuously developed further; sustainability, short delivery routes and resource-conserving procedures are an integral part of the value chain.
