About DIDRAS
DIDRAS GmbH is a manufacturer of wire saws and precision technology in the field of materials testing, materials analysis and cutting processes, based in Baden-Württemberg. The company develops and produces diamond wire saws – from compact benchtop units to complex cutting machines for metallography and materials analytics. In addition, DIDRAS GmbH offers contract sawing and contract cutting as job-order manufacturing as well as the production of diamond sawing wires and wire loops with a 0.25 mm diameter, which enable kerf widths of 180 µm. The cutting process is characterised by low feed forces, minimal heat input, very narrow kerfs and minimal material loss, and produces surfaces that correspond to ground surfaces and require no rework. Materials machined include metals, composites, technical ceramics and brittle-hard materials as well as electronic components such as resistors; fields of application are testing laboratories, metallography, automotive, electronics and technical ceramics.
