Die mietBar was a party room in Düsseldorf-Bilk run by Christiane Todt-Höhndorf as a sole proprietorship, which existed from 2006 until its final closure on 1 November 2021. The business offered the rental of an event venue for parties, family celebrations and class reunions, as well as its own events such as an open stage and a pub quiz. The rooms were fully equipped, including kitchen, glassware, music and TV system, as well as final cleaning. Under the meetbar brand there was a second location at Marienstraße 33 in Eisenach with space for up to 40 people and a rental price of 50 euros per hour. After a Corona-related forced shutdown, a fundamental renovation involving high investments and an unsuccessful reopening in September/October 2020, the Düsseldorf operation was abandoned in 2021; the owners have since been running the brewery quiz at the Alte Brauhaus Liedberg. There is no manufacturing activity.
