Die Mobile Saftpresse is a mobile fruit press service from Uedem on the Lower Rhine. The company comes to the customer with its juice press and processes raw fruit into pure natural fruit juice on site, starting from about 2000 kg of fruit. The process includes washing, crushing, and pressing the fruits, gentle short-time heating (pasteurization) at 80 °C, and filling in Bag-in-Box juice cartons with a shelf life of at least one year. Approximately one ton of fruit can be processed per hour; 100 kg of apples yield about 50 to 70 liters of juice. In addition to apples and pears, quinces are pressed upon consultation, and stone fruits such as cherries, mirabelles, and plums are pitted. Target groups are private customers with orchard meadows, neighborhoods, and associations that organize joint pressing events; during the season, seasonal pressing appointments take place, among others, in Uedem.
