About us

Die rote Keramik by Ingrid Habermann is a ceramics studio in Buttenheim (Bamberg district) that produces handcrafted miniature and garden ceramics. The range includes miniature dream gardens, living garden spheres, light spheres, planters, fence perches, bed stakes, stelae and small decorative objects such as birds, gnomes, mushrooms and little houses. The objects are made from clay and fired in the studio's own ceramic kilns at temperatures from 900 °C (bisque firing) to 1220 °C (high firing); garden ceramics are made frost-resistant. In addition to direct sales via its own online shop habermann-keramik.de as well as at garden fairs and Christmas markets, the studio offers a firing service for external objects, both for full kiln loads and by weight. Also offered are a pottery holiday programme for children, children's birthday parties, a mobile ceramics workshop and custom-made pieces.
