About DIEPHAUS

DIEPHAUS BETONWERK GmbH is an owner-managed building materials manufacturer headquartered in Vechta (Oldenburger Münsterland) and part of Diephaus GmbH & Co. KG. The company has been producing concrete masonry since 1932: patio slabs, paving stones, wall blocks, L-blocks, palisades, steps, kerbstones as well as accessories such as bollards, foundation blocks, channel stones and lintels. Production takes place in seven own plants at six locations in four federal states (Vechta, Schopsdorf, Wörth am Main, Tröstau, Munderkingen, Muttensweiler). In addition to classic concrete products, Diephaus offers ceramic-concrete composite slabs, architectural concrete finishes, permeable pavers with open-pored surfaces as well as factory-applied surface finishing (PEARL-EFFEKT) with a nanotechnology coating. Many surface variants – ground, blast-finished, water-jet treated, split, antique – are produced using patented manufacturing and finishing processes_REALIZE. Customers include building materials retail, civil engineering and landscaping; distribution takes place via specialist retail, online shop and factory outlet, supported by an own transport and logistics company.

Materials and processes

BET

Concrete

Base material for paving, wall and L-blocks, patio slabs and palisades, partly with up to 15% recycled content.

KVB

Ceramic-concrete composite

Ceramic surface with a concrete core for scratch- and acid-resistant patio slabs with a higher strength classification (breaking strength according to DIN EN 1339).

PEARL

PEARL-EFFEKT coating (PE 2–5)

Nanotechnology product finishing against lasting soiling and for simplified maintenance.

POR

Open-pored (porous-aggregate) concrete

Air- and water-permeable material for frost-resistant, permeable pavers.
