About us
Diethelm Aufzüge AG was founded in 1990 by Hansruedi Diethelm in Vorderthal and is an owner-managed family company headquartered in Lachen SZ. As a Swiss elevator manufacturer, the company with more than 100 employees manufactures and installs passenger elevators, freight elevators up to 7 tonnes payload as well as car elevators, covering the entire value chain: design, development, metal fabrication, control system assembly, pre-assembly, installation and service. Sheet metal working takes place in Lachen SZ, among other things by laser cutting (Trumpf and Bystronic), an automated sheet metal warehouse, bending robotics and a nitrogen generator; the company's own elevator controls (DI06) and car elevators are produced at the Wangen SZ site. Customers are private and public building owners throughout Switzerland. In addition, the company offers service and maintenance for third-party brands with a large spare parts warehouse, express shipping and a 24h emergency service. Aligned elevators operate up to eight times more energy-efficiently; the company uses renewable energies, a solar roof and an electric fleet.
