Dietz-motoren GmbH, headquartered in Dettingen unter Teck, develops and produces electric motors, radial fans and high-performance blowers. The motor program includes air-cooled finned motors, liquid-cooled smooth-case motors, synchronous and ripple motors as well as special drives, including fast-runner and high-speed motors. In the fan segment, the company manufactures high-pressure, medium-pressure and low-pressure radial fans (HR, GR/GT, DN/WN), the SB blower family with permanent-magnet synchronous motors and direct drive, as well as turbo radial compressors. In addition, the company produces plastic injection-molded parts under the DIETZ-technoplast brand. Test benches for fast-runner motors are available at the Dettingen site; fan production is located at the Ennabeuren (Heroldstatt) plant. Founded in 1922, the company employs around 270 staff and supplies customers in Europe, China and the USA, among others.
