About Dietzel Univolt
Dietzel Univolt (DIETZEL GmbH) is an independent family business founded in 1938, now in its third generation and headquartered in Vienna. The company produces and sells electrical installation materials: rigid and flexible installation conduits, cable protection systems, cable trunking, installation sacks and boxes, components for lightning protection and earthing, as well as cable pulling systems (Katimex) for electrical installation, building and civil engineering, road construction and low-voltage technology. Manufacturing includes injection moulding, extrusion, casting, pressing, blow moulding and punching of metal articles; materials are PVC-U, PP, halogen-free PC blends, PE and aluminium. Around 350 employees produce at three sites – Vienna (Austria), Pezinok (Slovakia) and Dongguan (China) – 120 million metres of conduit and 60 million accessories per year on 45,000 m² of production space. Over 40% of production is sold abroad; customers supply the distribution companies in more than 80 countries, including projects such as Imperial College London and Heatherwood Hospital. Since 1995 the company has been ISO 9001 certified, since 2019 additionally ISO 14001:2015 certified, and it is a participant in the UN Global Compact.
