About Digital Power Systems

Digital Power Systems GmbH (DPS) develops and manufactures high-reliability power supplies, DC/DC converters, USB chargers, LED power supplies, inrush current limiters and redundant ideal diode modules for industrial applications. What makes them special is the capacitor-free circuit technology: instead of aging-prone electrolytic capacitors, film capacitors (capacitor film technology) and digital control are used, enabling a calculated lifetime of over 70 years without maintenance. An output ripple of less than 1 % results in a clean supply voltage for precise digital communication and control via Modbus RTU. Every unit is individually tested at the Waghäusel-Kirrlach site (Made in Germany). Customers include the industrial, energy, building automation and lighting sectors, such as HILABS GmbH (battery management system for zinc-air batteries) and High Voltage Lighting Technology GmbH (obstacle lighting). Distribution is handled via the company's own webshop with international shipping.
