About digital workbench
digital workbench gmbh, based in Wettstetten near Ingolstadt, develops and manufactures automated system solutions for the off-highway sector with a focus on agricultural crop production as well as adjacent applications in forestry and in special and commercial vehicles. The core product is the autonomous multi-carrier platform tipard, a portal carrier system that, as a scalable platform concept, supports work processes from sowing through cultivation to harvest – including computer vision, satellite receivers (GNSS/RTK), control software and an online portal for mission planning. The systems are created as integrated overall solutions combining sensor technology, software, artificial intelligence and mechanical engineering, bringing together the disciplines of software, mechatronics, automation technology and systems engineering involved in development and production. The work is closely linked to agricultural practice: at the site on an active farm, the systems are developed in the direct context of application. The company was founded in 2014, employs more than 25 people and is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001.
