DigitaLicht AG is a developer and manufacturer of LED lighting systems based in Freigericht (Bernbach), Hesse. The company can look back on more than 45 years of experience in the lighting market and has been manufacturing LED lighting systems for more than 20 years. Its speciality is project-specific custom manufacturing and new development: luminaires are manufactured individually and precisely to fit the on-site situation, not off the shelf. The level of in-house production depth is high – all mechanical machining is carried out entirely in-house, and the heart of the electronics production is a pick-and-place machine with stencil printer and reflow oven for the SMT assembly of circuit boards. Own PCB layouts are created in-house within a short time. In an electronics measurement laboratory, circuits are tested for EMC and electrical safety; a high-resolution PC-based thermal imaging camera analyses the thermal management of the circuit boards, and a spectroradiometer measures LEDs for colour point, colour temperature, spectral composition and brightness. As a partner of architects, electrical planners, lighting designers and lighting artists, the company accompanies projects from idea to delivery and beyond, including maintenance, servicing and repair – also of third-party products. Manufacturing takes place exclusively in Germany, preferably with regional suppliers.
