About Digity
Digity GmbH is a deep-tech company founded in 2019, spun out of the University Medical Center Göttingen, operating at the interface of biomechatronics and robotics. The team develops and manufactures rigid hand exoskeletons for industrial workers as well as instruments for capturing human hand dexterity (Dexterity Capture). The first product, ARTUS, was deployed at major OEMs in 2024; more than a thousand exoskeletons have been built and delivered to date. With CHIROS (Research Edition, prototype February 2026), Digity offers an instrument that translates joint angles, forces and timing of human movements into Physical-AI-ready data formats, including an SDK (C++, Python, LeRobot, RLDS), a data pipeline and visualization. Production takes place in Göttingen together with the manufacturing partner Attacan GmbH; the company is part of the NVIDIA Inception Program and has been funded, among others, through EXIST Research Transfer. Around EUR 3 million in capital has been raised to date.

Technologies & System Components
Absolute Encoder
Absolute encoders deliver joint angles as ground truth without estimation, with deterministic timing.
Rigid Kinematics
Rigid kinematics makes motion data directly readable for robots and learning systems.
SDK C++/Python/LeRobot/RLDS
Software development kit for connecting CHIROS data to common Physical AI training stacks.
