About SIDEWATCH
SIDEWATCH is a product of Digonomics GmbH & Co. KG and an intelligent side warning light for cyclists, pedestrians, strollers, scooters and other road users. The device integrates an optical ToF sensor that monitors a zone up to approximately 4 meters behind and beside the wearer, daylight-visible yellow side LEDs, white warning blinkers, a vertical light for illuminating the person, and a rear light. In countries outside Germany, a laser distance display is additionally available, which projects the minimum overtaking distance onto the ground. The splash-water-protected device measures 85 x 30 x 82 mm, weighs approximately 100 g and is charged via USB-C; it operates on a lithium-ion battery at +5 to +50 °C. The product is developed by Digonomics (development contact: T. Klotz); distribution is handled by Sales-Advice with Michael Munz. In Germany, SIDEWATCH is intended for body-worn use, and in Austria also for mounting on bicycles.
