About DIHAG Solutions

DIHAG Solutions GmbH, based in Battenberg (Eder), is a foundry for cast steel and cast iron and part of the DIHAG Integrated Foundry Group. The company specializes in the series production of heat-resistant exhaust components for gasoline, diesel and hybrid engines and supplies manufacturers and system suppliers in the automotive industry. Its portfolio includes turbine housings for turbochargers, bearing housings, exhaust modules, integrated exhaust manifold modules, bearing caps and cylinder heads for commercial vehicles, units and marine engines, supplemented by castings for mechanical engineering. With more than 600 employees, over 2.5 million castings are produced annually, in unit weights ranging from a few hundred grams to 500 kg. Production takes place in small and large series using flask molding, the core box process and a tamped ladle line built in 2011 with two sand systems for outer and inner contours.
