About dikon
dikon Elektronik & IT GmbH is an EMS provider (Electronic Manufacturing Services) based in Göttingen that has been manufacturing electronic and electromechanical products on behalf of customers since 1986. Its range of services covers cable assembly (cable sets, wires, flat ribbon cables), PCB assembly, device manufacturing as well as software development and IT services. In cable production, cables are cut from reels, automatically stripped, crimped by machine or by hand, and soldered and tinned; insulation materials such as PVC, Teflon and silicone are processed in a material-appropriate manner. Production is designed for High Mix – Low Volume and also covers sample production and prototypes as well as complete material procurement. Customer industries include industry, medical technology, measurement and control technology, laser technology, laboratory technology and science. From 2021, the digitalization strategy toward a Smart Electronic Factory was expanded with a new ERP system, including seamless batch traceability and digital production planning.

Materials & Processes
Copper conductor
Cables, wires and flat ribbon cables with copper conductors form the base material of cable assembly.
PVC insulation
Material-appropriate processing of PVC insulation during cutting, stripping and crimping.
Teflon insulation
Teflon insulation places particular demands on processing, which is carried out reliably with adapted tools.
Silicone insulation
Silicone-insulated cables are assembled in a material-friendly manner, for example for applications with moving parts.
Solder
Solder is used for soldering and tinning of cable and connector joints under controlled temperature control.
PCB assembly
Assembly of printed circuit boards including procurement of solder paste stencils for precise electronic assemblies.
