About Dimetix
Dimetix AG, based in Herisau in the Appenzellerland region, has been developing and producing laser distance sensors for the international market for over 20 years. The D-Series sensors measure distances of up to 500 m (with reflective foil) with a typical accuracy of ±1 mm and measuring rates up to 250 Hz at operating temperatures from -40 to +60 °C. All production facilities – hardware, software and quality assurance – are built in-house; every sensor is individually calibrated and compensated. Via the serial number, all sensor settings and production tests are fully traceable. The sensors, with interfaces such as RS-422, SSI, analog output, and optionally PROFINET, EtherNet/IP and EtherCAT, are used, among other things, in the steel industry, on crane systems, in intralogistics, in the wood industry, and in monitoring and logistics. Sensors are available from stock, complemented by a worldwide sales partner network, technical support, as well as service and repair.
