About Dimpora
Dimpora AG is a Swiss material technology company that develops and manufactures waterproof, breathable and PFAS-free textile membranes. The patented CoreLayer Technology™ process enables membrane production without PFAS and without solvents and works with any polymers, including bio-based and mono-material solutions. The production process comprises compounding of polymer formulations, extrusion into continuous film with support layers, washing out of mineral-based particles to create the microporous structure, and lamination into 2-layer and 3-layer laminates with synthetic, bio-based or organic fabrics such as linen. The portfolio includes around 30 standard fabrics as well as the product lines dimpora BIO, dimpora BIO MONO, dimpora STRETCH, dimpora BIOD and dimpora 3D. Customers are brands from outdoor apparel, performance wear, functional wear, footwear and protective wear; custom membranes are developed in joint development agreements with durations of one to two years. The technology is developed entirely in Switzerland.
