About Dino Robotics Engineering
Dino Robotics Engineering is a company based in Karlsruhe that emerged from the environment of the University of Karlsruhe. The company translates scientific expertise from robotics into products for industrial applications. At the core of its offering is the Dino Robot Studio (DRS), a graphical development and control software with which complex automation tasks can be implemented without deep programming knowledge. The robot applications offered adapt to the current environmental situation via 3D sensor technology (ToF depth image cameras, laser triangulation, stereo camera systems) and autonomously compensate for changes or variations. The range of services extends from consulting through system integration of individual components to turnkey systems, service and maintenance, training, hardware sales (industrial PCs, robots, sensors) as well as custom software development. Typical applications are bin picking, inspection, assembly and logistics such as automatic depalletizing; in 2019 the company received the Innovation Award of German Aerospace in the Cross Innovation category.
