About Dipl. Ing. Werner Graf AG
Dipl. Ing. Werner Graf AG in Staad SG is a Swiss manufacturer of genuinely endless drive and conveyor belts. The product portfolio includes HEVALOID® flat and feed belts made from endlessly woven polyester cords with a rubber covering, elastic CRELAST® flat belts, roller coverings and friction linings, RONDLAST® high-performance round belts made of TPU-ester and TPE-Hytrel, as well as SOLUTUS® leather and non-woven belts. In addition, endless coatings made of rubber, silicone and polyurethane on flat, timing or poly-V belts as well as special machining services are offered. All belts are endlessly vulcanised or ultrasonically welded in an in-house process without any seam or glued joint; the rubber compounds are developed according to proprietary formulas. Production takes place at the Staad SG site, partly with FDA-suitable grades for food conveying. Customers include, among others, the paper processing industry, Décolletage/screw machine industry, tube winding industry, manufacturers of mail sorting and franking systems as well as logistics and sorting systems. With engineering reports, drive design and tension/length testing, the company supports customer projects from consulting to the finished belt, which is shipped worldwide as small-series production.

Materials and Processes
Chloroprene rubber (70 ShA)
Dimensionally stable flat belt covering for drive and transport applications, abrasion-resistant and antistatic.
Natural rubber
For feed belts and roller coverings with consistently high traction and the best abrasion resistance.
Nitrile rubber (75 ShA)
Oil- and grease-resistant flat belts for Décolletage screw machine applications.
EPDM
Rubber grade for round belts and coatings.
Silicone (FDA)
Endless coating for food applications, e.g. on PU timing belts.
Polyurethane (TPU-ester, 90 ShA, FDA)
RONDLAST® high-performance round belts for sorting and conveying systems in 24/7 continuous operation.
TPE-Hytrel
Thermoplastic round belt grade for cold- and chemical-resistant applications.
Polyester (tension member/cord)
Endlessly woven tension members for extreme dimensional stability of the flat belts.
Leather and non-woven
Endlessly wound Solutus® belts for classic oily drives.
Endless vulcanisation
Manufacturing without any seam or glued joint for reliable, flexible belts.
Ultrasonic welding
High-precision joining of round belts with a homogenised joint without a predetermined breaking point.
Grinding/Coatings
Renovation of poly-V belts by grinding and vulcanising a new traction layer.
