About direkt cnc-systeme
direkt cnc-systeme gmbh, based in Alfdorf, develops machine-independent CAD/CAM software for CNC technology in wood, plastics and aluminium processing. The core product NC-HOPS is a parametric, shop-floor-oriented CAM system for 3-, 4- and 5-axis machines, 5-axis simultaneous machining and 3D sculpted milling. It is complemented by option modules such as betterCAM, betterNEST (automatic part nesting) and 4solid (3D sculpted milling), as well as consulting and software engineering for project-specific system solutions, machine connections and the integration of ERP/PPS data. Founded in 1992, the company is one of the pioneers of parametric CAM systems under Windows and, with well over 13,000 installations worldwide, counts among the established providers in the industry. Applications range from furniture, door and window manufacturing to staircase construction and timber construction, through to automotive, caravan, luxury yachts and private aircraft. At the headquarters in Alfdorf, an in-house park of 5-axis machining centres is available for testing and further development of the software.

Quality
Software development is tested on the company's own machine park: at least one CNC runs continuously in Alfdorf to test new functions and machine connections. In addition, NC-HOPS offers a 3D material removal simulation with machine representation for reliable program verification before the actual machining run.
