DIRINGER & SCHEIDEL WOHN- UND GEWERBEBAU GmbH, based in Mannheim, operates as a project developer, building owner and general contractor and realizes residential construction projects in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. The current project is green v Viernheim in the Bannholzgraben II new development area on the northern outskirts of Viernheim: five residential buildings on a 6,000 m² site with a total of 87 owner-occupied apartments with 2 to 4 rooms and living areas of approx. 44 m² to 137 m². The buildings feature balconies, terraces and garden areas oriented to the southwest. The energy concept dispenses with fossil fuels and provides for underfloor heating with an integrated cooling function, which ensures a pleasant indoor climate without conventional air-conditioning units. The completed first construction phase (buildings A and D) was certified by NaWoh with the Sustainable Building quality seal (QNG). The owner-occupied apartments are marketed through the company's own real estate sales department.
