How we became what we are
Dirk Schumann GmbH is a mechanical engineering company founded in 1995 and headquartered in Hilgert (Westerwald). The company develops and manufactures testing technology for motor vehicles, in particular roller test technology (brake, driving and performance test benches) as well as engine testing technology for evaluating the performance, efficiency and quality of engines. In addition, the company offers special machinery construction as well as the new construction, expansion and adaptation of process-relevant systems such as coating systems and dryers. Mechanical manufacturing comprises CNC machining with milling, turning and EDM of aluminium, steel, plastics and special materials – from single parts and prototypes to small and large series. Development, design (CAD) and complete engineering including documentation are performed in-house; assembly, maintenance and calibration of the systems are carried out worldwide. The company is ISO 9001 certified and supplies, among others, a well-known German motorcycle manufacturer.
