About DISTANZ

DISTANZ is an international art book publisher based in Berlin, led by Matthias Kliefoth, Rebecca Wilton and Christian Boros. The publishing programme comprises books on contemporary art, art theory, photography, architecture and design. The publisher develops, designs and publishes exhibition catalogues with international museums and institutions as well as monographs on selected positions in contemporary art. Book production includes editing, copy-editing, translation and printing in collaboration with a network of editors, copy-editors and translators as well as renowned print works and lithography studios. Publishing focal points are the book series KONTEXT, the FUNDUS library and artists' books. Since 2010, over 700 titles have been published, produced in Germany to high quality standards with ecological certifications and distributed worldwide.
