About DC Energy (DCE)
DJK Europe GmbH operates under the DC Energy (DCE) brand as a partner for the production of lithium-ion battery cells in Europe. The company supplies production equipment and materials along the entire cell manufacturing process chain – from slurry production (mixing) via electrode manufacturing through coating of aluminium and copper foil to cell assembly for cylindrical, prismatic and pouch cells as well as formation. DC Energy GmbH, founded in 2019, was transferred to DJK Europe GmbH by merger effective 2 September 2024; the company is headquartered in Eschborn near Frankfurt am Main.
