About DKM & KKB
DKM & KKB GmbH, based in Zweibrücken, develops, engineers, and manufactures centrifugal pumps for special applications – primarily submerged motor pumps for mining, petrochemicals, gas caverns, as well as offshore and water applications – along with specialized fittings, ball valves, and other valves for the chemical and petrochemical industry and plant engineering. Production includes turning, CNC milling, and locksmith work, with a manufacturing depth of approximately 30%; the majority of the pumps are made of bronze, a smaller part of gray cast iron, while electric motors are procured. Approximately 250 pumps are produced annually; the portfolio comprises 14 models with lengths up to 4.60 m, flow rates between 10 and 650 m³/h, and powers up to 300 kW. Operating conditions up to 400 m pumping depth are simulated in the company's own test field – an eight-meter deep, water-filled shaft. The offering ranges from consulting, planning, and installation to maintenance and repairs, up to holistic service concepts. Customers include RWE, Vattenfall, Mibrag, and Romonta.
