About DKT

DKT Thielgen GmbH was founded in 1986 by Detlef Thielgen and is based in Lebach in the Saarland. The owner-managed company with around 40 employees develops and manufactures jigs and gauges for renowned automotive suppliers and other industrial sectors, including mechanical engineering and aviation. The range of services includes jig and fixture construction (including welding fixtures), gauge construction for individual parts, assemblies, castings and pipe welding assemblies, contract manufacturing as individual parts as well as small and medium series, assembly service, commissioning and spare parts service. Production takes place on a regularly modernized machine park with 5-axis CNC milling machines, a 7-axis turn-mill center, a CNC waterjet cutting system and a surface and profile grinding machine. Since 2025, additive manufacturing with fiber-reinforced plastic has also been available. Gauges can be measured up to approximately 4 meters in length. DKT is an internationally protected trademark and is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001.

Quality

Quality at DKT is created within the process: during production, continuous dimensional accuracy checks take place, and after assembly all part positions are measured to nominal dimensions and documented in dimensional reports. Calibrated measuring and testing equipment as well as the tactile 3D coordinate measuring machine Wenzel RS1515 are available for this purpose.
