DM-Stahl GmbH is a steel service center based in Hagen, specializing in the cross-cutting and longitudinal slitting of coils into sheet plates and slit strip. In two plants in Hagen, sheet plates are produced in stock and fixed formats on four cross-cutting lines with edge trimming across approximately 20,000 m² of hall space; an integrated blanking operation produces customized sheet blanks on five guillotine shears with cutting lengths up to 6,150 mm. The slit strip production with four slitting lines is located at Dortmund Harbour and works closely with the production and handling operations of SAZ Dortmund. The product range includes sheet plates, slit strip, cold-rolled strip and wide strip in thicknesses from 1.00 to 20 mm, widths up to 2,150 mm and lengths up to 16,000 mm, among others made from unalloyed structural steels, cold-formable steels and fine-grained steels as well as special grades such as C, boron and Mn steels. With an average stock of 50,000 t and connections by truck, rail and ship, the company delivers to customers throughout Europe on schedule. Material testing in the company's own laboratory, test certificates according to DIN EN 10204, and certifications according to ISO 9001 and ISO 50001:2018 round off the company's capabilities.

Intensive incoming goods inspection, production control and an in-house laboratory (spectral analysis, tensile test, Brinell hardness testing, bend and fold test) ensure quality. Test certificates according to DIN EN 10204 and re-stamping complete the quality management.
