About DMTpe
DMT Produktentwicklung GmbH (DMTpe) is an owner-managed development partner founded in 1994 and based in Nufringen near Stuttgart. The company supports manufacturers of medical devices, systems, instruments and accessories from the initial idea through concept, design and prototyping to industrialization, series launch and series production. The range of services includes consulting, compliance and requirements engineering, mechanical, electronic and software engineering, simulation, test automation and automation of assembly processes. For prototypes, 3-axis and 5-axis milling machines, additive processes, sheet metal processing, vacuum casting, investment casting and surface technologies are used; via a partner network, small series of up to 200 products as well as assembly and parts logistics are also handled. In terms of materials, thermoplastic polymers, elastomers, foams (EPP, PS, PU), metals, special materials and biocompatible materials in accordance with ISO 10993 are processed. The quality management system is certified to EN ISO 13485:2016/A11:2021 by DQS.
