About Dobsch PKE
Dobsch PKE is an engineering company founded in 2013 and based in Straubing (Bavaria), specialising in development, engineering and prototype construction up to production readiness. The sole proprietorship of Dipl.Ing. Johannes Dobsch prepares feasibility studies and turns customer ideas into marketable products – on request, it works discreetly under wraps until market launch. With SIMLIB (Self-Initializing-Mobile-Light-Barrier), Dobsch PKE has developed its first own product manufactured in series: a patented, mobile light barrier system for the temporary monitoring and cordoning off of areas without fixed installation monitoring. The individual R/T elements (up to 5 receivers/transmitters) align themselves automatically according to their placement and can be controlled via a remote control or handheld; the radio range is around 2000 metres, the optical range 10–15 metres. SIMLIB is splash-water protected and suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Areas of application include construction sites, tree work, logistics and storage areas as well as airfields/aprons. Reference customers include Franz Lohr, John Barbersons, Walkolution, Foliage Dreams and WellSmart Drilling.
