About Dönges
Dönges GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1903 in Remscheid and was originally active as a manufacturer of files and rasps; the company's own file production was discontinued in the 1960s. Today, the family-owned company is a system supplier for professional equipment and tools with its own product range and its own in-house production: a dedicated department develops, manufactures, assembles and delivers customer-specific products, tool packages and modified tools according to customer requirements. At the logistics center in Wermelskirchen on the A1 – with a high-bay warehouse covering 13,400 m², more than 11,000 pallet spaces and an automated small-parts warehouse with around 55,000 storage locations – over 150,000 items from more than 1,600 brands are available in 24-hour service. The core areas are fire department equipment, emergency services, police and forensic technology, Bundeswehr and federal authorities, as well as industry and the tool wholesale trade. With more than 190 employees, the company remains independent and also supplies customers via its own e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces.
