About Doepke
Doepke Schaltgeräte GmbH, based in Norden (East Frisia), develops and produces switching devices for residual current and circuit protection. The portfolio includes residual current circuit breakers (RCCB), RCBOs (FI/LS combinations), miniature circuit breakers, arc fault detection devices, switching devices with mains monitoring, differential current monitors and, under the sub-brand e.Guard, systems for intelligent differential current monitoring. Specialised product lines cover applications in photovoltaics, heat pumps, charging infrastructure for electromobility, agriculture, audio/building technology and mobile power supply. Manufacturing includes the assembly of miniature circuit breakers, transformer assemblies and distribution boards, also in very small series and to customer specification. Around 320 employees work in development, production, marketing and administration at the main plant in Norden; further manufacturing sites are located in Bickenriede (Thuringia) and Tangier (Morocco), plus sales companies in Daventry (UK) and Sharjah (UAE). The family-owned company, founded in 1956, employs over 400 staff and is certified to ISO 9001:2015.
