About Dörfler&Schmidt
Dörfler&Schmidt Präzisionsfinish GmbH is a family business founded in 1998, headquartered in Kammerstein (Middle Franconia), specialising in mechanical surface treatment performed as contract work. The company deburrs, grinds and polishes components made of virtually all ferrous and non-ferrous metals (including stainless steel, aluminium, titanium, brass, carbide, HSS, Inconel), plastics as well as ceramics, glass and wood. The machine fleet covers all vibratory finishing process types: vibratory, centrifugal, drum and dip finishing, complemented by double-disc grinding, blasting, brushing and ultrasonic cleaning. Parts are processed from under Ø 1 mm to Ø 800 mm, from small batches to large series of several 100 million pieces, with economically achievable roughness values of Ra 0,05 µm (or Ra 0,02 µm on ceramics). Customers come from the automotive, medical, tool, electrical, aerospace as well as fashion and jewellery industries and from mechanical and plant engineering. The company works in accordance with ISO 9001, generates 45 % of its electricity needs itself via photovoltaics and uses closed water circuits with microfiltration.

Quality
The processes are certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 (DEKRA, Reg.-No. 30918499/2), with reproducible series quality and on-time delivery as the working standard. Energy, water and waste consumption are continuously monitored; abrasion materials are bound in centrifuges and materially recycled.
