About Dolce GmbH
Dolce GmbH is a dessert manufactory based in Neu-Ulm that produces a wide range of confectionery products by hand every day – above all tiramisu, dolci and cakes based on Italian family recipes. The company grew out of the pasticceria tradition of Gianni Forgione, who learned the pastry trade in Como and opened the family's first pastry shop in Ulm in 1996. Since the founding of Dolce GmbH in 2013 by Massimo Forgione, the manufactory has supplied restaurants, wholesalers and the food retail trade. Under the Alba brand, desserts are offered for gastronomy; under the Della Mamma brand, to-go desserts are offered for supermarkets; the company also produces private labels as a white-label manufacturer for customers such as Domino's and Transgourmet. With Della Mamma, more than 1,500 supermarkets in Germany are supplied, and expansion into the food retail sector of neighboring countries is underway. The company also includes the Café Alba & Cucina in Ulm city center. Since 2019, Dolce GmbH has relied on renewable energies (SWU natural electricity certificate).
