BÜTTNER ELEKTRONIK, in the market for over 30 years and since becoming part of the Dometic Group as Dometic Mobile Power Germany GmbH, develops solar technology and on-board electronics specifically for leisure vehicles. The range includes solar modules and complete solar systems (20 to 420 Wp), MPPT solar charge controllers, lithium and TEMPRA batteries, battery chargers, charge boosters (DC-DC), sine inverters as well as measuring, switching and monitoring displays. The products are designed for the special demands of mobile use: pressure-water-tight junction boxes, vibration-resistant soldered connections and frame constructions that compensate for twisting and uplift forces. The systems can be networked via the N-Bus and controlled via an app. Distribution is handled through a network of dealers and installation partners in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic. The site and administrative headquarters is located in Emsdetten in Westphalia.

Solar mounting and roof bonding are TÜV-tested and approved to DIN standard for bonding on motorhome roofs. The products have won awards several times in independent tests, including as test winner in the Pro Mobil solar test 01/2024.
