About vitamin design
vitamin design is a manufacturing brand of DONA Handelsges. mbH based in Hamburg (Große Elbstraße 40, 22767). The company develops and manufactures high-quality solid wood furniture such as tables, beds, shelving, dressers and nightstands – as contract furniture, custom-made pieces and via a network of specialized retail partners. The woods used are domestic and premium species such as maple, beech, heartwood beech, ash, oak, knotty oak, cherry, walnut and knotty walnut; the wood is dried in special drying kilns, partly under vacuum, before further processing to reduce warping and cracking. The surfaces are finely sanded and treated with pure plant-based oil; the treatment products meet the requirements of EN 71. Production takes place through in-house manufacturing and collaboration with selected manufacturers, partly using traditional wood joinery such as mortise and slot joints. Customers come from offices, stores, hotels, restaurants, cafés, dining areas, medical practices and ships. Services include CAD/3D data, product registration as well as care and repair service.
