Donau-Asphalt-Mischwerke GmbH & Co. KG (DAM) operates an asphalt mixing plant in the Ulm-Donautal industrial area and supplies the Ulm region and surrounding area with hot-rolled asphalt, mastic asphalt and porous asphalt. The mixing plant has been comprehensively modernised and extended; a high-capacity parallel drum and precise control technology ensure the production of high-quality asphalt products. The plant technology enables a recycled content of up to 60 percent, with the recycling material sourced from UBR Ulmer Baustoff Recycling. In addition to standard formulations, project-specific special mixes are produced, including noise-optimised, light-coloured, low-carbonate and water-permeable mix grades as well as surfaces with special technical properties. Customers are municipal and commercial clients; the asphalt is used on municipal, state and federal roads as well as on motorways. The Ulm-Donautal location has excellent transport links.
