The Donaustrudel GmbH produces fresh, ready-to-bake organic ready-made doughs, which are available kitchen-ready, rolled out on baking paper, in the chilled and fresh counters of numerous organic shops. The range, established since 1988, includes strudel dough, pizza dough, puff pastry and butter puff pastry, quiche and tart dough, pasta and lasagne dough, shortcrust pastry, tarte flambée dough and bases, focaccia and grill dough as well as a pizza kit. All products are made in certified organic quality with high-quality ingredients and certified annually; palm oil is largely avoided, and where it is needed, RSPO-certified palm oil is used. The brand comes from Regensburg on the Danube, while the company is headquartered in Amberg. In addition to its own products, the Donaustrudel GmbH has been handling the distribution of the Bio Urkorn pizza dough by Kornelia Urkorn for Germany and the Netherlands since 2022.
