dopa Entwicklungsgesellschaft für Oberflächenbearbeitungstechnologie mbH (dopa Diamond Tools) has been developing and producing diamond tools, polishing agents, other auxiliary and operating materials, and machines for the manufacture of precision-optical components for over 35 years. With the company's tools and technologies, optical glasses, crystals, ceramics, metals and special materials are machined. In its own optics manufacturing, laser-optical windows, mirrors and other high-precision components have been produced for 20 years from materials such as quartz, calcium fluoride (CaF2), sapphire, YAG, glass ceramic, ZERODUR® and optical glasses – in plano optics, curved optics, micro and macro optics as well as aspherical and cylindrical geometries. The range of services also includes contract work such as lapping, grinding, polishing, chamfering, brushing, laser engraving, singulation, coating and metrological services as well as custom product and process developments from feasibility studies through prototypes to small- and large-series production. In addition, the company offers machine and plant engineering for individual grinding, lapping and polishing processes. Customers come from optics, the semiconductor industry, medical technology, the luxury watch industry, aerospace, the automotive industry and research. From its Berlin location, dopa supplies its customers worldwide together with international sales partners.
