About Dosbio
Dosbio GmbH, based in Hanover, is the German subsidiary founded in 2025 of the bioenergy company Dosbio, launched in Argentina in 2015 under CEO Juan Khouri. The focus is a patented technology that converts liquid digestate from anaerobic digestion into granulated multi-nutrient biofertilizer. To achieve this, the process combines zeolite with nutrients recovered from the digestate by means of a rotating fluidized bed and electrical plasma discharge; the fertilizer is designed to keep nutrients available in the soil longer, improve soil quality and strengthen water retention. The parent company and partner operation Bioenergía Virch S.A. in Comodoro Rivadavia (Chubut) generate biogas, biomethane, BioLNG, BioCNG and BioCO₂ from poultry waste and residual biomass. In 2026, the company entered the European market with a planned pilot plant in Hamburg as well as cooperations with the Province of Entre Ríos, the municipality of Crespo and the Tangeln agricultural cooperative; two biogas plants are planned with an investment of around 200 million USD and a targeted capacity of 300,000 m³ of biomethane per day within eight years.
