Dr. August Oetker Nahrungsmittel KG was founded in Bielefeld in 1891 and is a company of the Oetker Group that is 100 percent family-owned. The core product range covers pizza, baked goods and desserts, including baking powder, baking mixes, decorating products, pudding and frozen pizzas such as Pizza Ristorante, which are sold in over 50 countries. In addition to its consumer business, the company serves large-scale customers such as gastronomy, hotels and catering through Dr. Oetker Professional, and is increasingly developing digital platforms and services around baking. Production takes place in its own plants in Germany as well as at international locations including Poland, Canada, Brazil, India, Egypt, South Africa, Romania, Mexico, Hungary, Turkey, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Serbia, Tunisia, Australia and the United Kingdom. In the 2025 financial year, the Dr. Oetker food companies, including Conditorei Coppenrath & Wiese, generated revenue of 4.3 billion euros. The headquarters has been located at Lutterstraße in Bielefeld since 1900.
