Dr. Datz Maschinenbau GmbH from Andernach (Miesenheim district) has been manufacturing capping machines for bottles and containers since 1949, i.e. since its founding in 1956. The product portfolio includes standard capping machines VS1 to VS12, universal capping machines UVM3 to UVM8, capper upper units VSO3 to VSO24, swing stopper capping machines, cork pressing machines, semi-automatic capping machines as well as unscrewing machines ES3 to ES20 with outputs of up to 60,000 bottles per hour. In addition, capping heads (including VD4, Top Cap press-on units, plastic capping heads), conveying systems, sorting machines, fillers and cleaning machines are offered. The machines process glass, plastic and light-metal containers with closures such as Top-Cap, Twist-Off, Stelvin Lux and roll-on closures. Essential machine components are made of stainless steel. Since 1988, the group has also manufactured sheet metal parts, system assemblies and components using CNC technology (Dr. Datz Blechbearbeitung GmbH) and provides service, maintenance, spare parts and conversion also for third-party machines. Customers include the beverage, viticulture, food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and chemical industries in Germany, Luxembourg and Austria.
