Dr. Eberl MBE-Komponenten GmbH develops and manufactures components and systems for molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) and UHV applications. The product portfolio includes effusion cells of various types such as the Standard Effusion Cell WEZ, the Low Temperature Effusion Cell NTEZ and the Production Effusion Cell PEZ, as well as complete MBE systems of the OCTOPLUS series. The applications range from optoelectronics and quantum materials to nanostructures, spintronics and 2D materials, through to thin-film solar cells, metals, organics as well as oxides and dielectrics. The systems cover material systems such as III/V and II/VI semiconductors, SiGe, topological insulators and CIGS. To date, more than 5,000 effusion cells and more than 80 MBE systems have been delivered to customers worldwide. The headquarters with production floor space is located in Weil der Stadt near Stuttgart; worldwide sales are handled via distributors and sales partners. The team consists of specialists with many years of research and development experience in semiconductor and epitaxy technology.
