Dr. Fichtner GmbH & Co. Industrieanlagen KG (FiA), based in Vierkirchen near Munich, is an engineering office and machinery manufacturer covering the entire value chain from the initial idea to the turnkey machine. Its range of services includes engineering services (mechanical design, electrical planning, PLC and IPC programming, FEM calculations, CE conformity declaration), the construction of special-purpose machinery, production machines, fixtures, test benches and systems, as well as refits and upgrades of machines from other manufacturers. In its own CNC production, components are machined on 3- and 5-axis machining centers for simultaneous milling as well as on CNC and cycle-controlled lathes. The offering is complemented by assembly including contract assembly, control cabinet construction and electrical installation, as well as temporary staffing and work contracts with an unlimited permit since 2005. Customers come, among others, from aerospace, safety technology, injection molding machine and extruder manufacturing, rail vehicle technology, automotive, process and process engineering, and surface coating.
