About Dr. Födisch Umweltmesstechnik
Dr. Födisch Umweltmesstechnik AG, headquartered in Markranstädt, is a manufacturer of continuous emissions and process measurement systems (CEMS) for air pollutants, dust and flow. The measuring instruments have been manufactured in Germany for over 30 years and are deployed worldwide. The portfolio comprises dust measurement (fine dust, filter monitoring, dust concentration), gas analysis (hot and cold gas analysis with up to 12 measurement components, oxygen measurement with a zirconium dioxide probe, FID measurement technology via the subsidiary TESTA GmbH) as well as flow measurement. In addition, the company offers environmental and engineering services such as permitting management under the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG), emissions reports, measurements, and maintenance, calibration and manufacturer-independent repair and service including a 24h hotline and remote maintenance. Customers come from power plants, the cement industry, waste, biomass and sewage sludge incineration, the chemical and metallurgical industries as well as shipping and the oil and gas industry. Since 2024 the company has been part of the ABB Group; the Födisch Group employs around 230 staff.
