About Dr. Fritsch

Dr. Fritsch is a manufacturer of special-purpose machines specialised in the diamond tool industry, headquartered in Fellbach near Stuttgart. Founded in 1953, the company with around 80 employees covers almost the entire production chain for diamond tools: from weighing, mixing and granulating to cold pressing and pressure sintering, and on to radius grinding, soldering, laser welding, tension rolling as well as dressing and sharpening. A dedicated company division produces sintered metal powders, ready-made mixes and pre-alloyed materials based on cobalt, copper, iron, bronze, tin, tungsten, nickel and aluminium, and distributes industrial and synthetic diamonds. The portfolio is complemented by laboratory and service offerings such as contract mixing, granulation, bond development, segment evaluation and quality assurance, as well as installation, training, maintenance, spare parts supply and remote maintenance. Customers come from the construction and natural stone industries, from grinding, dressing and honing, as well as from mining and the automotive industry. Through its subsidiary Dr. Fritsch Machines & Powders Pvt. Ltd. in Bangalore and six international representatives, the company supplies the world market.
